Today, Saturday, the Hamrin Dam Administration announced the volume of rainwater imports coming to the dam during the past 24 hours.

The director of the Hamrin Dam, Tha'ab Jari, told the official agency: "The rainwater imports to the Hamrin Dam within 24 hours amounted to 6 million cubic meters, coming from nearby areas such as Al-Saadiya, Imam Wais, and other areas adjacent to the dam."

Gary added, "We are optimistic because the season is just beginning, and rainwater in remote areas needs time to reach the storage basin, noting that we need 600 million cubic meters of water to cover the next summer season."

Many governorates witnessed heavy rains, which caused torrential rains in some areas, especially in the east of the country.
