Representative Kazem Al-Shammari expressed his hope to operate the Nahrawan water project at the beginning of next summer after waiting for more than ten years, praising the efforts of the Minister of Construction, Housing and Municipalities, who highlighted this important project and obtained the approval of the Council of Ministers to lend the ministry for the purpose of its completion.[/size]
[size=45]Al-Shammari said in a statement today: “The Nahrawan water project, which we have waited for for many years, will save the people of the Nahrawan district and the Al-Madaen district from the scarcity of potable water. It has witnessed delay since 2012 and work on it was stopped, then it returned to the fore during the era of Minister Benkin Rikani in 2018 However, the resignation of the government in 2019 prevented it from being completed, and today, in a position that deserves thanks and appreciation, the minister asked the Council of Ministers to lend his ministry an amount to complete it, and the Council approved the loan through Resolution No. (23061) in its session held on 1/24/2023, so that we become very close To achieve this goal that we have been waiting for.”[/size]
