    Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Labor announced that measures had been taken against 27,500 employees who receive social assistance salaries, while it indicated that 2,000 orphans were included in the benefits salaries.

    The head of the authority in the ministry, Ahmed Khalaf Al-Moussawi, said, "The ministry launched today the electronic link for the inclusion of orphans, widows, and divorced women in social protection, as more than 19,000 orphans, widows, and divorced women applied to the link within only 6 hours," noting that "these procedures come within the completion of the government program." launched by Prime Minister Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani.

    He added, "This came as a continuation of the social research campaign that was launched on the 15th of last January, during which we completed more than 280,000 families within 16 days," noting that "the link that was launched today will remain open and did not set a time limit for closing it."

    He stated, "When a sufficient number is provided, the data is interrupted and social research in the field begins. As for the release of social protection benefits and their receipt of the amounts, it depends on the approval of the budget."

    Al-Moussawi revealed that "legal measures have been taken against 27,500 employees and contract holders who receive social assistance salaries within two months," pointing out that "Labor Minister Ahmed Al-Asadi announced a short while ago that 2,000 orphans were included in social assistance, after they were presented on the 15th of this month and they will be handed over."     He explained that "these sums are not part of the budget, but are compensatory for the salaries of these employees and contract holders that have been suspended," pointing out that "our work is not random, but rather according to accurate data and statistics."
