Abdul Sattar Al-Hashemi stressed the importance of strengthening
economic cooperation with Egypt as it would open the door to strengthen
economic relations with Arabic States.
He said al-Hashimi (News
Agency): Egypt wants to restore economic relations with Iraq by
increasing trade exchanges and mutual cooperation in all fields.
He
said: to strengthen economic relations with Egypt will open the
horizons of joint cooperation with all States, Arabic and foreign
relations of Iraq lost since the previous system.
The spokesman
said the Egyptian Cabinet, Prime Minister Dr. Hisham Underwood will
travel to Iraq, accompanied by Ministers and 60 businessmen, to
strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
The
Egyptian Prime Minister arrived Tuesday to Baghdad at the head of an
Egyptian delegation comprising Ministers, Ministers of Foreign Affairs,
industry, trade, petroleum, Minister of manpower, electricity and
energy, planning and international cooperation, by 60 Egyptian
businessman in all areas.
