Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein received the US Ambassador to Iraq, Alina Romanowski.[/size]
[size=45]The ministry statement said, "The two sides discussed the results of Fouad's visit to Washington and ways to follow up on the outputs emanating from the results of the visit," stressing "the need to create a joint mechanism to follow up on the desired results of the visit."[/size]
[size=45]The statement added, “The two sides touched on the issue of stopping the Iranian-American talks, especially after the visit of Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian to Baghdad,” noting that the meeting discussed “the resolution proposal submitted by Brazil to the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly on the Russian war- Ukrainian.”[/size]
