A member of the advanced cadre of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Mahmoud Khoshnaw, accused, on Saturday, the Kurdistan government headed by Masrour Barzani of failing in all files, indicating that the Democrat implicated Kurdistan with debts estimated at about $24 billion.
Khishnaw said in a press interview, seen by Taqaddam, that "the philosophy of governance in the region does not correspond to the will of the citizens, and that the Democratic Party headed by Masoud Barzani implicated the region with financial debts exceeding 24 billion dollars."
He added, "There is great popular discontent in the region because of the lack of transparency in the region's oil revenues. The Kurdish delegation in Baghdad does not represent the region."
He pointed out that "the union did not boycott the regional government, but announced a boycott of the cabinet meetings, and that the union is a participant in the regional government and not a partner."
