House of Representatives held its regular Wednesday, and the agenda includes a vote on a proposed amendment of the law to the parliamentary elections in 2014.
[ltr]According to a parliamentary source told all of Iraq [where] that "the agenda of the meeting of the Council of Representatives for the day includes a vote on the proposed amending the election law, and the second reading of the draft law on universities and colleges, and the final report of the Sub-Committee responsible for monitoring the project and the Ministry of Education, No. 1 and 2 and on the subject of rebuilding schools mud and ramshackle. [ltr]It is noted that no formal announcement of the resolution of the House of Representatives so far differences over the election law, and is still ongoing consultations between the political blocs, while visiting parliamentary delegation headed by Parliament Speaker Osama Najafi Arbil last Saturday and met with the President of Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani, and the number of MPs and Kurdish leaders to discuss the law and the resolution of disputes around him, and Najafi's Office announced after the meeting agreed to adopt a multi-constituency instead of the single constituency[/ltr]
