    The Sulaymaniyah airport incident brought back the dispute and tension between the two main Kurdish parties, the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union, to the fore again.
    While the Kurdistan Regional Government issued a statement regarding the bombing that targeted Sulaymaniyah International Airport.
    A spokesman for the regional government, Jutiar Adel, said in a statement followed by (Baghdad Today): "We express our concern about targeting Sulaymaniyah International Airport," noting that "this situation is the result of the occupation of government institutions and their use in illegal actions." 
    Adel added, "The actions of an authoritarian party on the borders of Sulaymaniyah caused the closure of Turkey's skies in front of Sulaymaniyah Airport, and then attacked it, and as a result, the citizens of this region are paying the price." 
    Adel also described the Vice President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Qubad Talabani, as "an alien and his party perpetuates work in the region." After that, the Vice President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Qubad Talabani, issued a statement confirming that Gutiar Adel is not a spokesman for the regional government, but rather he represents a party within the government and is never entitled to speaking on behalf of the government." 
    For his part, the leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Ghiath Surji, confirmed that the recent attack on Sulaymaniyah Airport represents a "serious violation, and the operation was carried out with the help of foreigners' servants and agents." 
    He added in his interview with (Baghdad Today) that, "The last Turkish operation took place with the help of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, specifically the wing of Prime Minister Masrour Barzani." 
    He explained, "At the present time, there is no government representing the Kurdistan region, and what exists is a partisan party that monopolizes the situation and wants to manage Kurdistan according to its directions." 
    He pointed out that "the Patriotic Union has no relations with the Kurdistan Workers' Party at all, and its relationship with the SDF is known and declared and we do not fear it, and they have headquarters in Sulaymaniyah, and the actions of Erbil and the Democratic Party are contrary to the system and flout the instructions, and there are terrorist leaders entering Erbil airport." 
    The head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Pavel Talabani, said, "Criminal acts and crossing the border between the Kurdistan region and Iraq under the direction of a local security intelligence agency," referring to the "Parasten Service - the Barzani Party Intelligence Service" of the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, are not rare. 
    A member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Wafaa Karim, confirmed that, "in the region today there are two administrations, and all security and service institutions in Sulaymaniyah are managed by a partisan side only." 
    He also indicated to (Baghdad Today) that "Sulaymaniyah does not send financial revenues to the regional government, and the Patriotic Union imposes its influence and wants to destabilize security and stability in the city, through cooperation with prohibited parties such as the Kurdistan Workers' Party." 
    And that "the Patriotic Union obstructs the process of managing the Kurdistan Regional Government by refusing to attend ministers to the meetings of the Council of Ministers of the region, cooperating with the prohibited party, and not subjecting institutions to the control of the Kurdistan government, or the federal government."
     Yesterday, Sulaymaniyah International Airport was subjected to Turkish bombing by a drone that was aiming to target the commander of the Syrian "Qasd" forces while he was at the airport to return to his country.
