    Economy News - Baghdad
Electricity Minister Ziyad Ali Fadel said that the problem of tax collection "is not in the homes of the poor."
Fadel said in a televised interview, followed by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "the problem of electricity (collection) is not in the house of the poor. The house of the poor has low consumption, and we do not want to target the poor."
And he went on to say that "our problem, frankly, is with the owners of high loads, malls, large stores, schools and universities that exceed energy."
And he continued, "We are currently working on collecting state institutions. Some of the state's departments had problems even with standards. We found many sites without a measure, and we made a decision that it is forbidden (to have) a department without a measure, and we are approaching the Ministry of Finance to deduct the amounts."
