Deputy Governor of Basra Governorate, Uday Awwad, on Thursday called on the federal government to provide a financial grant to workers of malls, cafes, and closed shops from the owners of daily wages.
Awad said in a statement, which received (information), a copy of it, that "the Crisis Cell 55 measures to close malls, restaurants and cafes is a step in the right direction for non-proliferation of Corona virus," adding that "but this step must be matched by the disbursement of a financial grant to workers who live on the livelihood of their day." .
Awad called on the federal government to "compensate workers in malls, restaurants and cafes with a compensatory financial grant because most of them live on daily food." Ended / 25
