And housing, municipalities and public works continue to develop new cities outside the basic designs of existing cities, municipal institutions have been created for new cities, and the file has been submitted to the Council of Ministers to complete the approvals and proceed with the necessary infrastructure .
He added: “The municipality of Ali Al-Wardi has been established in the Baghdad governorate, the Al-Salam municipality in the Al-Najaf governorate, the Al-Mutanabi municipality in the Wasit governorate, and the new Al-Diwaniyah municipality in the Al-Diwaniyah governorate."
And he continued: "The process of completing the transfer of land ownership from the Ministries of Finance and Agriculture to the new municipal institutions, in order to save effort and shorten the procedures, is taking place and according to the directives of the Prime Minister, As specialized committees have been formed in each governorate to follow up on the completion of land preparation and the initiation of urban planning and implementation of infrastructure. .
