The Parliament's media department stated in a statement received by [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/133473/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B3%D9%88%D9%85%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%A9 %D9%86%D9%8A%D9%88%D8%B2/ar/]Alsumaria News[/url], "The House of Representatives returned the draft law of the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/35981/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AA%D8%B9%D8%AF%D9%8A%D9%84 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A3%D9%88%D9%84/ar/]first amendment[/url] to the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/3443296060/%D9%82%D8%A7%D9%86%D9%88%D9%86 %D9%88%D8%B2%D8%A7%D8%B1%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%83%D9%87%D8%B1%D8%A8%D8%A7%D8%A1/ar/]Ministry of Electricity Law[/url] No. (53) of 2017 to the government at its request."
And she added, "Parliament postponed voting on the draft law on the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/1579764338/%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%8A%D9%88%D9%85 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%88%D8%B7%D9%86%D9%8A/ar/]National Day[/url] of the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/47585/%D8%AC%D9%85%D9%87%D9%88%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D8%B1%D8%A7%D9%82/ar/]Republic of Iraq[/url]."
The statement indicated, "The House of Representatives also postponed voting on the report of the Parliamentary Investigative Committee formed according to Parliamentary Order 170 on 10/11/2022, related to the investigation of the measures taken by the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/19554696/%D9%88%D8%B2%D8%A7%D8%B1%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AA%D8%B9%D9%84%D9%8A%D9%85 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%8A %D9%88%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A8%D8%AD%D8%AB %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D9%84%D9%85%D9%8A/ar/]Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research[/url] regarding the termination of the contracts of [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/3423238950/%D9%88%D8%B2%D8%A7%D8%B1%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%8A%D8%A9 %D8%AC%D8%A7%D9%85%D8%B9%D8%A9 %D8%AA%D9%83%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%AA/ar/]Tikrit University[/url] and other Iraqi universities."
And the media department added, "The House of Representatives has completed its report and discussion of the draft legal aid law."
