    Baghdad today - Baghdad
A member of the Finance Committee in the Parliament of the Kurdistan Region, Sabah Hassan, confirmed today, Thursday, that the solution to the region's salary crisis depends on voting on the budget law.
Hassan said in an interview with (Baghdad Today), "The salary crisis occurred due to the suspension of the region's oil exports and the lack of sufficient financial liquidity."
He added, "If the budget is voted on during the next week, approved and published in the Official Gazette, and the region's share is sent, the employee salary crisis will finally end, because Kurdistan will receive more than 16 trillion dinars."
The Kurdistan region is facing a major financial crisis that makes it unable to pay the salaries of its employees, after the export of Kurdistan's oil through Turkey stopped, at a time when the region views Baghdad as responsible for providing the salaries of its employees and supporting the region with all its financial needs, after the fulfillment of the condition of handing over the region's oil to Baghdad.
