    The National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, discussed in Tehran today, Monday, with the representative of the Supreme Leader and Secretary of the Iranian National Security Council, Ali Akbar Ahmadian, the measures of the security record between Iraq and Iran, and ways to enhance the security of the two countries and control borders, in order to achieve stability in the region.
    A statement by the National Security Adviser, which was received by (Baghdad Today), stated that Al-Araji affirmed during the meeting, "the Iraqi government's determination to sustain and strengthen relations between Baghdad and Tehran, at all levels," noting that "Iran's security is Iraq's security, and the development of bilateral talks in the fields of security and economy." It is in the interest of both countries." 
    He pointed out that his visit and the accompanying security delegation to Tehran is confirmation of the recent security protocol between the two countries, stressing that this agreement stems from our faith and belief that the stability and development of relations and development is the fruit of the stability of security between the two countries.
    For his part, Ahmadian indicated that the security record between the two countries is a road map, and that it guarantees the security and stability of the common borders of the two countries, and is a prelude to cooperation in all fields, stressing his country's support for the Iraqi government, and its endeavor to deepen relations with neighboring and friendly Iraq.
    The National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, arrived in Tehran today, Monday, at the head of a high-ranking security delegation, to complete the security protocol procedures between the two countries.
