Great economic hopes are pinned on the road to development

Economic experts and observers are pinning great hopes on the path of development that the Sudanese government recently launched, in one of the country's largest strategic projects.
The director of the Iraq Center for Strategic Studies, Dr. Ghazi Faisal, said in an interview with “Al-Sabah”: “The international road network for the development road is among the most important giant regional projects that were developed according to plans, details and maps with international specifications for land commercial transport, as well as railway lines, which constitute A network to connect the heart of the project and the development of the state ».
Faisal pointed out that "this project will link the Arab countries with Turkey towards the European countries with a network of land roads, and it will also connect Europe, Turkey and the Arab Gulf through the port of Faw, in addition to Asia and the possibility of access to the Red Sea," noting that "this network of lines has a character International will reflect a real opportunity to transform Iraq into a center for international trade similar to the United Arab Emirates, which plays a vital role today as a center for international trade between East and West ».
The expert explained that “it is possible to benefit from the agricultural production of the Kurdistan region through these giant trade routes to export its goods and agricultural crops,” considering the visit of the Prime Minister of the region, Masrour Barzani, to the UAE “opening the way to discuss the wide opportunities for Emirati companies to invest in the region, whether in the field of gas and oil derivatives or in field of agriculture
or other projects.
Faisal believed that “the Kurdistan region has a role in the field of industrial cities with Jordan, which were discussed in the conference in which the ministers of the region participated in Amman, in which they discussed the importance of joint work in the field of industrial cities in the Kurdistan region, in addition to agriculture, groundwater and other projects.”
The economist believes that the path of development “through this network of land lines will serve the commercial interests of the Kurdistan region, just as it will serve the commercial interests of Iraq in general.”
Meanwhile, political affairs analyst Dr. Haitham Al-Hiti pointed out the importance of the path of development, politically and economically.
Al-Hiti added, to "Al-Sabah", that "the connection of Iraqi cities through the commercial development road will link business between these provinces, as it will open gas stations, restaurants, and charging stations, and will link the interests of the host provinces and their people with each other."
Al-Hiti suggested, “Linking the development road to the road network across the Kurdistan region, as it will contribute to the establishment of Iraqi Kurdish companies in a way that diversifies the distinguished geographical commercial network and eliminates the social and economic isolation and thus achieves the desires of the Arabs with the south and the north as a new type of interdependence of interests, which is more important than the division supported by politics.” sometimes".
