    Today, Saturday, the political advisor to Prime Minister Fadi Al-Shammari announced the new memorandum of understanding between Iraq and Qatar, and while announcing the volume of Qatari investments in the country, he set the date for the completion of its projects.

    Al-Shammari said, to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "There is a new exceptional relationship in the bilateral relations between Iraq and Qatar that expresses itself successively and culminated in the recent visit of the Emir of Qatar to Baghdad, and the signing of several important agreements and deep understandings in various fields, including at the government level or in the private business sector and investments,” explaining that “these agreements aim to enhance cooperation and develop various sectors in the two countries.”
    And he indicated that "in the energy and electricity sector, memorandums of understanding were signed related to the fields of electricity and construction, as well as an agreement to establish a joint oil company and build a refinery, in addition to agreements regarding the supply of crude oil and liquefied gas to Iraq, which will contribute to meeting energy needs and enhancing capacity." Productivity".
    He added, "The residential cities sector witnessed the conclusion of agreements to develop two model residential cities, which enjoy modern infrastructure and the capacity of each city reaches 50,000 residents, which makes the total capacity of the two cities 100,000 residents. These two cities include villas, apartments, commercial centers, hospitals, and schools." It is expected that these cities will become a model for the entire region, which will contribute to providing high-quality housing for citizens.
    He continued, "It was agreed to build and develop a number of hotels in various Iraqi governorates, including five-star hotels, to fill the current deficit estimated at 10,000 hotel rooms in order to meet part of the growing needs for tourism, trade and investment in the country," noting that "this The investment trend comes in light of the expected economic development in Iraq during the coming years.
    As for the health care sector, Al-Shammari affirmed that "agreements have been reached with Qatari companies specialized in managing and operating a number of new hospitals, which will be opened within months," noting that "the aim of these agreements is to achieve integration between the private health system in Qatar and the sector." Iraqi health care, and improving the quality of health care provided to Iraqi citizens. 
    He pointed out that "these hospitals include the provision of a bed capacity of up to 400 beds, and it is expected that they will contribute to meeting the growing needs for health services," adding that "these hospitals are modern and fully equipped with highly experienced medical teams to meet the various medical needs of patients."
    Al-Shammari indicated, "The total investments in these three projects are estimated at about $7 billion, and their implementation will start directly for a period of five years," noting that "
    And that "this Qatari-Iraqi cooperation in the field of investment is an important opportunity to enhance economic development in Iraq, provide new job opportunities for youth and improve the living conditions of citizens, and these huge investments will contribute to achieving sustainable growth and strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries."
    He noted that "Iraq and Qatar have strong bilateral relations based on political partnership and coordination of positions, and this partnership aims to enhance cooperation and mutual understanding between the two countries in a variety of political, economic and cultural fields."
    With regard to coordinating positions, Al-Shammari explained that "Iraq and Qatar are working to achieve consensus on regional and international issues of common concern through bilateral consultations and participation in regional and international forums," pointing out, "[/size]
