Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhibis Al-Saadawi, issued, on Monday, several directives related to the reverse travel of pilgrims to the Sacred House of God after completing the rituals of Hajj.
The ministry stated, in a statement, which Mawazine News received a copy of, that “Al-Saadawi received the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God who were assigned on board the first reverse flight of the national carrier from Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport to Baghdad International Airport after they completed the rituals of Hajj, and it will be followed by three Other flights to Baghdad and Najaf international airports, with a rate of more than a thousand pilgrims.
Al-Saadawi appreciated, during his reception of the pilgrims, "the role of Iraqi Airways and its exceptional efforts in the process of dispatching the pilgrims to the Sacred House of God and vice versa, as the exclusive carrier for the Hajj season 1444 AH."
And he reaffirmed, "The cadres and crews working in Iraqi Airways continue to provide the best services during the reverse promotion of the guests of Rahman, and in the best way," stressing that "the services provided are distinguished, appropriate and satisfactory to the pilgrims."
The Minister of Transport also stressed that "there will be a full alert during the reverse movement process, in proportion to the numbers that have already been dispatched, amounting to 25,800 pilgrims, and securing their return to their beloved country."
Al-Saadawi stressed that "all the company's modern aircraft, especially the Dreamliner, the dream plane, are harnessed to serve the pilgrims, with the need to provide all aspects required to serve the elderly and humanitarian cases and provide them with appropriate comfort."
It is noteworthy that the promotion process will be gradually increasing, at a rate of five to ten flights per day, distributed to all our local airports.
