    Tomorrow's Press / BAGHDAD: A member of the security and defense committee in Parliament MP Hoshyar Abdullah, on Friday, the Passport Law to be published by his committee soon will facilitate the procedures for issuing a substitute for damaged or lost and makes it take place within the province that issued the passport will not have the citizen to travel to Baghdad.
    Abdullah said in a statement received "tomorrow's Press," that "there are serious attempts by the Commission on Security and Defense parliamentary issuance of a new law on passports, and it is hoped that the law contains great facilities in version instead of lost or corrupted and spare the citizens routine procedures currently in place" .
    He added that "many of the citizens in the various provinces have expressed their suffering from the current procedures in the issuance of the passport alternative in the event of loss or damage, particularly with regard to Badtararhm to travel to Baghdad to appear before the court and the completion of a series of legal procedures which are often in very difficult and complex" .
    Abdullah said that "the Passports Act includes a new issuance of a passport alternative within the same province that issued them a passport without having to travel to Baghdad," adding that "the Security Committee completed the first reading of the Passports Act and will commence the second reading of the law after the Eid al-Adha directly for the purpose of issuance expeditiously. "
    It is noteworthy that the citizen who loses his passport or exposed to damage must appear before the court and it requires a very tough measures in order to get a new passport.
