    Information / Baghdad..
On Thursday, Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, Representative Alia Nassif, accused the Foreign Minister of "treason" because of his collusion with the Kuwaiti ambassador by replacing the Iraqi negotiator and withdrawing a letter directed by Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani, in which he asked for reservations about the negotiations that take place on the maritime borders.

Nassif said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, that "Iraq is going through a critical phase of another chapter of treason, as happened in the unfair international resolutions represented by Resolution (833)," noting that "the power of negotiators and companies working for Kuwait at the time were arbitrarily imposed and grossly unfair to our maritime borders, and one of its results is the construction of three artificial islands and depositing their maps with the United Nations to change the maritime borders."
She added, "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani sent a letter to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs requesting reservations about the negotiations that take place on the maritime borders, as they do not serve the interest of Iraq. However, the minister withdrew the prime minister's memorandum and froze the letter sent by al-Sudani. Therefore, we are facing a complete closure of our maritime borders and the loss of our rights to overlooking the Gulf due to Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein's indifference to Iraq's maritime rights," wondering, "for whose benefit did the Foreign Minister withdraw the Prime Minister's memorandum a month after it was submitted?"
Nassif indicated that "the Kuwaiti ambassador went two days ago to Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein and imposed on him the replacement of the negotiator with a well-known figure residing in Kuwait, who previously negotiated with Kuwait and was the reason for the unfair decision (833).
And Nassif had confirmed in his tweet to her on (Twitter) yesterday that she had seen the information that the candidate for the negotiations on the demarcation of the borders was chosen according to the dictates of the Kuwaiti ambassador in Baghdad to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein, asking Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani to replace this candidate who resides in Kuwait and possesses her nationality with another candidate. End / 25 pm
