Baghdad / Obelisk Al-Hadath: Today, Thursday, the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shayaa Al-Sudani, chaired a meeting that included the Ministers of Finance, Planning, Construction and Housing, during which ways to expedite the implementation of the government's priorities in the services and municipalities sector were discussed, and to address financial and technical obstacles and obstacles that impede the implementation of service projects. Especially projects related to water services, sewage networks, and traffic jams in the capital, Baghdad, and the rest of the provinces.
The meeting witnessed a review of the list of projects of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and their financial allocations included in the general budget law for the three years, as well as a discussion of proposals designed to address the lack of allocations for strategic projects important to the citizen, and the coordination mechanism with the governorates to adopt service projects within their allocations in the budget.
The Prime Minister directed that all ministries and sectoral agencies must give infrastructure projects the required attention and the highest priority, as they constitute one of the government's most important priorities in its ministerial curriculum, in addition to meeting the citizen's needs for basic services.
