Today, Sunday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani confirmed that there has been no decision regarding the waiver of Iraqi lands, while calling on citizens to cooperate with the government to reduce abuses of water networks.
The Prime Minister spoke with the citizens directly via a televised program, that "the talk about ceding Iraqi lands aims to mislead public opinion, falsify and distort facts," pointing out that "after 2003, no decision was taken about ceding Iraqi lands, not by this government or governments." previous".
Regarding the water scarcity, the Prime Minister stressed that "the current summer is the most difficult that Iraq is going through," calling on "citizens to cooperate with the government to limit the abuses of the water networks."
