    The Iraqi judiciary issued a clarification regarding the land file of the Al-Jadriya district in Baghdad, explaining that it is a collection of arrest and recruitment orders.
    The media center of the Supreme Judicial Council said in a "clarifying" statement, which was received by "Al-Iqtisad News", that after the meeting of the Council's chairman, Faeq Zaidan, with a number of citizens from the Karrada / Jadiriyah area and listening to the details of the problem related to the lands belonging to them, the Presidency of the Baghdad-Rusafa Appeal Court indicated that it had been completed. Assigning a specialized judge to conduct an inspection of the plots of land subject of the complaint, and it was found that they are common property, in which the complainants own shares with other partners, some of whom sold their share to a number of citizens.
    After completing the required procedures, according to the statement, arrest warrants were issued against the defendants, including (Salman Muhammad Hussein Al-Hilu, Diaa Karim Shaheen Al-Halfi, Muhammad Hussein Ali Al-Janabi, and Al-Mu’tasim Billah Daoud Salman) and (Safaa Al-Lami, Walid Al-Kubaisi, Abbas, Hussein, and I have Hamid Al-Barzanji).
    The statement referred to the issuance of a recruitment order against others holding job positions, and some of them appeared on their own after being notified of the recruitment to the competent court. His statements were recorded and he was released on temporary bail until the completion of the investigation.
    The statement indicated that the competent police station was instructed to follow up on the implementation of arrest warrants issued against the defendants to complete the investigation procedures.
    On the nineteenth of this August, the religious authority, Ali al-Sistani, announced his refusal to seize lands belonging to citizens in Jadiriya, in the center of the capital, Baghdad, considering it "a violation of the law and Sharia." This was during his meeting with a number of the people of the region who had previously appeared in the media and complained about what they were being subjected to. From pressure and threat to give up their lands in favor of some parties.
    A group of citizens from the Al-Jadriya region appeared on satellite TV channels and on social media platforms, appealing to the Iraqi government, demanding that influential political parties linked to armed factions prevent the seizure of their lands.
    On Sunday, August 13, Hisham al-Rikabi, advisor to the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia al-Sudani, said that the latter had directed an investigation into the case of the seizure of these lands.
