Earth News/ The Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Agriculture, Water and Marshes Committee, Zozan Kujar, explained today, Thursday, the fact that Kurdistan is going to cut off water from central and southern Iraq.
Cougar told Earth News Agency, "There is coordination between the federal government and the Kurdistan region, especially the water file, which is very sensitive and important, especially as it has a great impact on food and economic security and threatens stability in light of this existing crisis related to water."
He added, "The statements made by the advisor to the Minister of Agriculture of the region regarding cutting off water from the center and the south, we deny that, and this news is not true at all."
