    Information / Baghdad..
A member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, Alia Nassif, called on Monday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani to ask the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to return the first memorandum related to the borders with Kuwait.
Nassif said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, that "national figures in the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs were able to install a memorandum related to Iraq's view of the sea and submitted it to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers for the purpose of voting on it."
She added, "After the Kuwaiti side felt the harm of the memorandum on it, it quickly assigned two personalities from inside and outside the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs with an ambassadorial rank to pressure the ministry and the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers to withdraw the memorandum and not submit it to a vote. Indeed, the two personalities succeeded in persuading the ministry to withdraw the memorandum and that it keeps a copy of it." Note withdrawal book.
And Nassif called on the Prime Minister to “return the first memorandum related to the borders with Kuwait that was withdrawn from the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers for the purpose of voting to compare it with any new memorandum related to the same issue.”
The Kuwaiti Foreign Minister, Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, visited Baghdad recently, and discussed with his Iraqi counterpart, Fuad Hussein, the border demarcation file and the need to agree on the continuation of the convening of committees regarding the file. Ended / 25 pm
