    On Tuesday, economic affairs researcher Hisham Al-Baydani explained the harms of the new leave law, which, if implemented, would harm employees as well as the private sector.

    Al-Baydani told Al-Maalouma, “The new law will tempt employees and push them to take long vacations, as it has been taken up in Parliament for legislation and implementation.”
    He added, "The new law reflects the government's attempts to reduce job slackness resulting from random recruitment in recent years. However, this law, although it aims to streamline the state's administrative body, will weaken the chances of obtaining a job in the private sector, which already suffers from marginalization." .
    He stated, "What is most surprising is that the government is still opening the door to random appointments on the one hand, and on the other hand, it urges those appointed to take long vacations at half the nominal salary for five years, and without salary for those who wish to take vacations exceeding this period." Ended 25 n
