    On Wednesday, the spokesman for the Popular Legal Movement, Muhammad Al-Sahhaf, called on the judiciary to impose the most severe penalties against terrorists convicted of shedding Iraqi blood, and not to tolerate this issue.

    Al-Sahhaf said in an interview with the Maalouma Agency, “The amnesty law is used by some Sunni parties and parties with the aim of winning over the public after the leaders of the Sunni parties made many promises and did not fulfill them.” 
    He added, "This issue is not without great danger to the security and safety of the country, as it paves the way for murderers and criminals to flout the law and encourages the commission of more crimes." 
    Al-Sahhaf stressed the need to “impose the harshest penalties on those convicted of shedding Iraqi blood, and not to be complacent about this issue, as well as accelerating the process of implementing judicial rulings issued against criminals in prison, as this also causes a waste of public money.” Ended/25H
