    [rtl]Baghdad - Iraq Today:

    The Iraqi Council of Ministers issued several important decisions in its thirty-eighth regular session headed by Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani. [/rtl]
    [rtl]Among these decisions aimed at boosting the economy and improving the country's infrastructure are:[/rtl]
    [rtl]Financing the Kurdistan Region of Iraq:

    A previous decision of the Ministerial Council for Finance was amended to enable the Kurdistan Regional Government to pay the salaries of employees, those covered by social welfare, and retirees. Providing loans from Rafidain and Rasheed banks and the National Investment Bank over the current year.[/rtl]
    [rtl] Reform the tax system[/rtl]
    [rtl] Significant tax reforms were approved, including reliance on certified accounts and financial statements for tax calculations and improving the business environment.[/rtl]
    [rtl]New infrastructure at the border[/rtl]
    [rtl] Funding was allocated from the emergency reserve to construct a concrete wall on the Iraqi-Syrian border, to enhance security and control of the border areas.

    Supporting the large Basra water project[/rtl]
    [rtl] It has been approved to equip and install a mobile power station for the Greater Basra Water Project, Phase II, which will contribute to improving water distribution in the region.[/rtl]
    [rtl]Social protection for children with diabetes[/rtl]
    [rtl] Patients with diabetes children were included in the social protection benefit and a stipend was provided to children with first-degree diabetes.

    Increasing the capital of the House of Cultural Affairs[/rtl]
    [rtl] It was approved to increase the capital of the House of Cultural Affairs to support cultural and artistic activities in the country.[/rtl]
    [rtl]Adjusting the price of gas oil (kerosene)[/rtl]



    [rtl] The price of gas oil (kerosene) for government companies in the Ministries of Transport and Trade was adjusted to 400 dinars per liter.[/rtl]
