Political analyst Sabah Al-Ukaili said that any attempt by Masoud Barzani to feed the terrorist ISIS in Kirkuk would turn against his party, pointing out that Barzani did not get the political green light to bring the Peshmerga into Kirkuk.

Al-Aqili told Al-Maalouma, “The attempts to return Barzani, his party, and the Peshmerga forces to Kirkuk were not preceded by any political agreements in this regard, especially with regard to Barzani’s attempt to return the Peshmerga to this province.”
He added, "The Democratic Party, like other political parties, can be present in Kirkuk and practice its electoral political activity, but attempts to bring the Peshmerga into this province and control and dominate there require a political agreement."
He stated, "Any feeding of ISIS terrorist groups by Barzani to raise tensions in Kirkuk will have a negative impact on the Democratic Party, especially since the situation of the Kurds at the present time is weaker due to political divisions among them." Ended 25 n
