Today, Monday, October 16, 2023, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, received the new Consul General of the People's Republic of China to the region, Lu Jun.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister congratulated the Chinese Consul General on the occasion of assuming his new position, and also expressed his wishes for success in performing his duties.
The Chinese Consul General praised the progress made by the Kurdistan Region in construction and reconstruction, and also provided a summary of their work, activities and projects in the region, especially in the areas of investment development, trade exchange, education and environmental protection.
