Minister of Immigration: The causes of displacement have ended, and we demand that the region allow the displaced to return to their areas

{Local: Al-Furat News} The Minister of Immigration and Displacement, Ivan Faiq Jabro, received, in her office at the ministry’s headquarters in Baghdad, today, Tuesday, a delegation from the people of Sinjar district, from various components and authentic Iraqi sects, to discuss the living and economic reality within the district.
Jabro confirmed during the meeting, according to a statement by the ministry, a copy of which {Al-Furat News} received, that "the government gave special priority to the reconstruction of the Sinjar district areas. The government also gave priority to supporting stability in the areas of return, providing all requirements for a decent living for returning families, and including them in income-generating projects."
She explained that "the real causes of internal displacement have ended thanks to the stability achieved in the areas of return," while renewing her call to the Kurdistan Regional Government to "cooperate with the Ministry and allow the return of displaced families wishing to voluntarily return to their areas of original residence to ensure that they are not exploited in any way."
For its part, the delegation praised the minister's efforts in supporting all components of the Iraqi people, especially the people of Sinjar district.
