{Economic: Al-Furat News} The Minister of Commerce, Atheer Al-Ghurairi, announced the launch of the largest campaign to sell basic foodstuffs at competitive prices tomorrow morning, Wednesday, in Baghdad and all the provinces.
Minister Al-Ghurairi said in a statement, a copy of which was received by Al-Furat News, that the campaign will include table eggs, sugar, chicken, veal, yellow flour, tomato paste, and adult milk, as the food company will launch them for sale through its sites and marketing outlets in Baghdad and the provinces, in addition to mobile wheels that will tour all regions. At competitive prices “and within the next two days.”
He pointed out that "the purpose of operating these trucks is to confront speculators and meet the citizen's needs for these materials."
