On Thursday, Minister of Health Saleh Al-Hasnawi confirmed the ministry’s success in completely securing life-saving medicines and filling the shortage, expressing his hope that medicines will continue to be provided for the coming years.
Al-Hasnawi said in an interview with the Maalouma Agency, “The Ministry of Health has given priority to providing life-saving medicines in all Iraqi hospitals by 99%.”
He added that "the Ministry of Health's budget allocations are better compared to previous years," pointing out that "the Ministry of Health pays first attention to providing life-saving medicines within the Ministry's allocations for the coming years."
