Director of the Ministry’s Department of Labor and Vocational Training, Osama Majeed Al-Khafaji, said, “The Ministry has taken serious steps to develop a new mechanism for recruiting foreign workers and organizing related transactions, for the purpose of overcoming obstacles by relying on electronic automation and moving to a new work stage that ensures transparency in dealings with auditors by facilitating And simplifying procedures through the electronic payment mechanism for fees resulting from these transactions.”
He added, "The Ministry will work to shorten many of the transaction steps for the Foreigners Department that were causing delays, as well as uncovering forged transactions submitted by some companies and recruitment offices."
Al-Khafaji continued, “A specialized technical committee has been formed to audit recruitment transactions, archive them electronically, and create a robust database of their own, after which the electronic submission will be approved, in addition to paying financial fees based on prepaid electronic payment cards (MasterCard or KeyCard), according to what It is suitable for the beneficiary via the (Mahan) electronic platform, as it is the first government platform concerned in this field.”
