    Baghdad - IA - Nassar Al-Hajj
Today, Monday, the Reconstruction Fund for Affected Areas counted the number of its projects completed in various sectors during the past year 2023, while indicating the launch of a large package of service projects during the current new year 2024.
Director of the Engineering and Technical Affairs Department of the Fund for the Reconstruction of Affected Areas, Muhammad Mohi, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The Fund for the Reconstruction of Affected Areas completed more than 300 projects during the year 2023, in various sectors, including (health, roads, municipalities, water, sewage, electricity, and various other sectors).
Mohi added, "A number of these projects were considered slow projects, as they were completed after finding appropriate solutions for them."
He pointed out that "the Fund worked, after approving the federal budget, in coordination with the targeted governorates, to prepare plans that are compatible with the government approach to rehabilitate the infrastructure of those governorates."
He stressed that "work is underway to complete the procedures for auditing and listing the proposed projects for the purpose of launching a large package of service projects during the year 2024."
