Strategic planning: Parliament begins evaluating the government’s work

The Strategic Planning and Federal Service Committee completed the hosting sessions for evaluating the government’s work for the first year of its life, while it prepared the report concerned with evaluating the work of the ministries.
The Vice Chairman of the Committee, Muhammad Al-Baldawi, told Al-Sabah: His committee has completed the hosting sessions to evaluate the first phase of the government’s life and discuss it to launch its own report, noting that it will also evaluate the work of the ministries and the extent of what has been implemented of the government program and the ministerial curriculum that was voted on in the meeting. The House of Representatives and its approval by the Council of Ministers.
He pointed out that there were flashes that appeared in the government’s work in which it demonstrated its seriousness and competence in implementing the government program, pointing to the identification of reluctance in some ministries in implementing the components of the curriculum.
Al-Baldawi hopes that during the coming period, all obstacles will be taken into consideration in order to overcome them and move forward in implementing what was planned by the government.
