    Information/Baghdad...
The Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibas Al-Saadawi, announced today, Thursday, the opening of a new public transport line that passes through five areas in Baghdad, while indicating the imminent installation of 24 new modern canopies in the capital.
Al-Saadawi said, in a press conference, followed by “Al-Ma’louma”: “Under the guidance of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, one of the public transportation axes was opened by activating the mass transportation lines that start from Al-Nidaa Mosque, then the Ministry of Labor and Al-Mustansiriya University, and from there to Palestine Street and the Zayouna area.” Until Maysloun Square,” indicating that “this line will be extended in the coming days to Al-Bayda Cinema in the New Baghdad area.”
He added, "14 buses have been provided for this line, and 24 new modern canopies will be installed in the coming days, contracted with one of the manufacturing countries," noting that "these canopies will be air-conditioned and equipped with screens to clarify the timing of the buses' arrival to citizens."
He pointed out, "Activating the mass transit line in Baghdad and the rest of the governorates aims to support the limited-income segment, reduce crowding, relieve bottlenecks, and reduce environmental pollution, especially since the capital is crowded with cars." Ended/25
