    [rtl]Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Transport revealed the results of the recent meeting between Iraq and Turkey, regarding the development road project, which was held recently in Ankara.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The Ministry's media office stated, in a statement received by Al-Iqtisad News, that "an Iraqi technical team visited the Turkish capital, Ankara, last week, and held a meeting with the Turkish side, to discuss the latest developments in the development road project."[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]He added, "During the meeting, the delegation reviewed the details of the work on the project, which is directly supervised by Minister Razzaq Muhaibas Al-Saadawi, and which enjoys great importance and support from Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani."[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]At the conclusion of the meeting, “a joint minute was signed between the two sides, which included an important number of points that were agreed upon, in the presence of the Italian consulting company.”[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The statement continued, "The two sides agreed on a number of technical issues regarding the project," noting that "the two sides also agreed to hold periodic technical meetings on a monthly basis."[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]He explained, "The Turkish side pledged to train Iraqi railway cadres within the framework of the development road project, and the details will be agreed upon later."[/rtl]
