The ministry indicated that people's enthusiasm and desire for Arbaeen trips exceeds the existing infrastructure in Iran and Iraq, adding that given that the number of pilgrims is increasing every year, it is necessary to plan to improve the infrastructure and distribute the trips, according to the Iranian "Bazaar" website.

He continued, it is expected that the number of Arbaeen passengers will increase next year, so all transportation departments, including air, land, railways, and sea, and all institutions, including the municipality, road organization, and others, will estimate and announce their maximum capacity in order to eliminate the shortage, and the necessary measures must be taken.

She explained that in some cases where this is necessary, we ask the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to consult with Iraq to solve some problems, noting that 94% of the Arbaeen visit trips were made via the land transport fleet, and among them, about 72% of the trips were made by private vehicles and about 28%. Of the trips were made by public transport fleet.
