The Minister of Oil added, “The final statement of the Conference of the Parties referred to the adoption of transitional fuels as one of the pillars of transformation, which was already present and has been present for years in our national and ministerial vision for the gas industry,” indicating that “the Iraqi energy file is on the cusp of an important stage in which we need to establish an integrated strategy.” To transform with energy and reduce emissions, so that the transformation becomes a source of revitalization of the Iraqi economy and the well-being of the country.”

He explained, "The Ministry of Electricity worked through its plans to improve the level of electricity service as it is one of the most important components of energy security in Iraq and one of the pillars of national security in terms of ensuring operational requirements, adequacy, flexibility, reliability, and stability of the electrical system in Iraq."
