    The Charge d'Affairs of Iraq to the United Nations in New York, Abbas Kazem, confirmed that the federal government and the Kurdistan Region are seriously trying to build strong bilateral relations.[/size]
    [size=45]This came during his speech as Iraq's delegate at the emergency session of the UN Security Council held today, Tuesday, at the invitation of Russia to discuss the American bombing of armed militias in Iraq and Syria.[/size]
    [size=45]He said: The Iraqi government continues to coordinate with the Kurdistan Regional Government to reach a very important agreement.[/size]
    [size=45]The Iraqi delegate to the Security Council indicated that the two governments (the federal and the Kurdistan Region) had negotiated several agreements, especially with regard to the issue of budget and salaries.[/size]
    [size=45]Regarding the resumption of the export of Kurdistan Region oil to Turkey, Kazem said: Every effort is being made to re-export oil from the Kurdistan Region through the Turkish Ceyhan Pipeline.[/size]
    [size=45]He added: The Iraqi government made every effort to work for a stronger Iraq through diplomacy at the level of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and tried to strengthen its relations at the international level.[/size]
    [size=45]The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jeanine Plasschaert, confirmed that armed groups in Iraq outside the control of the state have caused destabilization of the political situation and stability in the region.[/size]
    [size=45]She said that Iraq “is going through a difficult situation and faces many challenges, so the attacks in Iraq must end so that more people can use their abilities to develop the country.”[/size]
    [size=45]Explaining that one of the positive things that has been seen in Iraq in recent months “is the reform of the banking system and other government institutions.”[/size]
    [size=45]Regarding the delay in sending the salaries of Kurdistan Region employees, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq said: The problem must be resolved and the salaries of Kurdistan Government employees must be sent as soon as possible.[/size]
