[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The Minister of Commerce, Atheer Al-Ghurairi, confirmed that Iraq was excluded from the list of countries that lead the increase and inflation in prices.
Al-Ghurairi said in a joint press conference with the Minister of Trade and Industry in the Kurdistan Region, “The ration is secured for the strategic storage, and there is no need for the citizen to worry about the rise in markets for the first time, as today Iraq has emerged from the list of countries that lead the increase and inflation in prices, achieving food security and thus serving... He added, "The rise in prices in Iraq is synchronized with the countries of the world, and there are comprehensive control measures in Baghdad as well as the region by changing the method of support, and thus ensuring that work is discreet and brings profit to the private sector, thus protecting the consumer."
He explained, "The current Ramadan basket has been added to it, like last year, four other items that the Ministry of Commerce recorded as being in greater demand during the month of Ramadan, namely (zero-starch flour and vermicelli pasta)."
He stressed that "there are no poor quality materials in the food basket, but rather they are from local origins in accordance with the approved specifications. As for imported rice, it is from solid international origins and in accordance with the Iraqi specifications."/End 8[/rtl]
