The Ministry of Interior has completed its preparations to provide protection for visitors heading to Holy Karbala, to commemorate the birth of Imam Mahdi, peace be upon him, on the fifteenth of the current month of Shaban, and while the Ministry of Health, for its part, provided its health services represented in the preventive and therapeutic aspects and medical evacuation, the Media and Communications Commission inaugurated the “Shabaniyah” operations room. “And using new frequencies in Holy Karbala, with the deployment of 45 technical teams on the ground. Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani arrived yesterday in the holy city of Karbala to follow up on security and service preparations for the Shaabani visit. Interior Ministry spokesman Brigadier General Miqdad Miri said in a special press conference on the plan to secure the visit of the middle of Sha`ban, which was held at the Holy Karbala Operations Command headquarters: “More than 35,000 security men participated in the plan to secure the Sha`ban visit,” indicating that the plan did not include any interruption. Minister Saleh Al-Hasnawi said during his visit to the Holy Karbala Health Department to review the implementation of the plan for the visit, that “our presence in the Holy Karbala Health Department came to review the health plan for the Sha’baniya visit and to cooperate with the Ministry’s Operations Department,” stressing that “the plan for the Sha’baniya visit is integrated.” It is represented by the preventive and therapeutic aspect and medical evacuation in terms of ambulances, health centers and ready-made hospitals.” In addition, the Media Authority revealed the inauguration of the “Shabaniyah” operations room and the use of new frequencies in Holy Karbala, with the deployment of 45 technical teams on the ground. The Authority stated in a statement, “The Media and Communications Authority launched a central operations room to track mobile phone services during the “Shabaniyah” visit to the holy city of Karbala, where millions of visitors flock to commemorate the birth of Imam Mahdi (peace be upon him).” The head of the authority, Ali Al-Moayyed, confirmed that “two frequency bands have been added within the special range of the holy city of Karbala, which will enable mobile phone companies to accommodate the large crowd of visitors during the days of the visit,” and “17 fixed stations and two mobile stations (COWs) have been deployed, in addition to 869 cells.” Permanent,” pointing out that “proactive maintenance operations included 350 towers, a rate of 45 percent of the total number of towers, while increasing the number of towers connected to the fiber optic network to 422 towers, a growth rate of 25 percent.” He pointed out that "the human elements present on the ground were 11 teams specialized in development and installation, 24 teams specialized in emergency maintenance, and 10 technical teams working to conduct proactive checks on communication and Internet services via mobile phone networks."
