Today, Sunday (March 3, 2024), the Ministry of Oil announced the final statistics for the exported quantities of crude oil for the month of February.
The Ministry’s media stated in a statement received by “Baghdad Today” that “The Ministry of Oil announced the total oil exports for the month of last February, according to the final statistics issued by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO), where the amount of crude oil exports amounted to (99) million and (592) million.” One thousand (311) barrels (ninety-nine million five hundred and ninety-two thousand three hundred and eleven barrels).”
The statistics indicated that “the total quantities exported of crude oil for the month of February from the oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to (98) million (183) thousand and (554) barrels, while exports to Jordan were (433) thousand and (126)” Barrels. As for exports to Qayyarah, they amounted to (975) thousand and (631) barrels.”
She explained that "the rate of final crude oil exports for the month of February reached (3) million (434) thousand (218) barrels/day, while the export rate from Basra was (3) million (385) thousand (640) (barrels/day)." day), and from Jordan it reached (14) thousand and (935) (barrels/day), and as for Qayyarah, the export rate was (33) thousand and (642) (barrels/day).”
