    BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi during a meeting with First Vice President of Iran Isaac Jhankiri in Tehran on Tuesday that his government intends to solve the problems inherited from the previous regime with Iran, calling on countries in the region to create an economic cooperation organization. 
    A statement by the Office of Abadi afternoon he held a joint meeting with Jhankiri in the presence of members of the two delegations of Iraq and Iran. 
    The statement quoted al-Abadi as saying during the meeting that "the two countries have the capabilities of significant human and material should entitle them to cooperate and develop relationships and expanded in the fields of oil, gas and electricity, construction, transport and others, along with the importance of strengthening cultural relations and tourism," pointing to "the determination of the Iraqi government to end all the problems inherited from the system the former. " 
    The prime minister stressed that "the countries of the region can set up an economic cooperation organization serving all of their people, and we see the need for coordination between countries in the region to counter the threat of terrorism, which threatens everyone." 
    "I appreciate the position of the Islamic Republic of support for Iraq in the face of terrorist attack and to help us in this response is not a danger to Iraq alone, but to all countries of the world," referring to the position of the international coalition, "which is lined with Iraq because he felt the danger of the terrorist threat." 
    He said, "We have full confidence in the ability of our people and our military and popular mobilization to defeat terrorism in cooperation with friendly countries." 
    For his part, First Vice President of Iran, according to the statement, "his country's readiness to cooperate with Iraq in all fields and to overcome the difficulties encountered in the implementation of some projects in the fields of economy through the current talks between the ministers concerned." 
    The statement said that the ministers of the two delegations during the meeting, they reviewed ways of enhancing the existing cooperation between Iraq and Iran, and its future prospects and work to accelerate the implementation of projects that serve the interests of the two countries and the two neighboring peoples. 
    Abadi and arrived yesterday evening to Tehran on an official visit at the head of a ministerial delegation included the ministers of oil, trade and water resources.
