, the head of the Victory Coalition, Haider al-Abadi, confirmed, on Tuesday, the country's need for more stability to solve outstanding problems in accordance with the constitution.
Al-Abadi's office stated in a statement, which Mawazine News received a copy of, that "the latter received the President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani, and his accompanying delegation, and the meeting witnessed a discussion of the overall political, security and economic conditions in the country, and an emphasis on making all possible efforts by all parties to move forward." Al-Abadi stressed, according to the statement, "the country's need for more stability to solve outstanding problems in accordance with the constitution, and to provide services to citizens," noting that "cooperation and coordination of positions between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government is important in facing the many challenges."
