The People with Disabilities Law will be included in the upcoming Parliament sessions

The Labor, Social Affairs and Civil Society Organizations Committee of the House of Representatives has completed all procedures related to the People with Disabilities Law, and it will be included in the upcoming House of Representatives sessions.
Committee member MP Jassim Al-Alawi told Al-Sabah that the committee has completed all procedures for the People with Disabilities Law, and he expects it to be included this week on the House of Representatives’ agenda.
He pointed out that people with disabilities are an important segment and need to have their rights guaranteed within a law that regulates and preserves their requirements, such as educational rights, in addition to their inclusion in the salaries of a full-time employee and other privileges according to financial allocations within the budgets and attention to this segment in their governorates.
