The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee completed the National Security and Intelligence laws and are ready to be voted on.
Committee member Nayef Al-Shammari said, in an interview with “Al-Sabah”: The committee has completed the National Security and Intelligence laws and they are ready to be voted on, in addition to other laws that are being discussed for the purpose of submitting them to the Presidency of the House of Representatives in order to be included in the agenda.
Al-Shammari added that one of the most important laws that have not reached the committee yet is the draft cybercrime law, pointing out that there are other laws that were withdrawn by the government and did not return to the committee. However, the committee is continuing its work and will discuss a group of laws related to them.
