Within a month, the Central Bank of Iraq’s sales exceeded $4 billion

Shafaq News/ The Central Bank of Iraq’s sales from the currency auction amounted to more than four billion dollars during the month of last April.
Shafaq News Agency correspondent stated that during last April, the Central Bank sold four billion and 348 million and 889 thousand and 811 dollars in its auction for buying and selling the US dollar, at a daily rate of 241 million and 604 thousand and 989 dollars.
Our correspondent stated that foreign remittance sales during the past month amounted to 4 billion, 39 million, 874 thousand and 811 dollars, an increase of 92% compared to cash sales, which amounted to 309 million, 874 thousand and 811 dollars.
He pointed out that these sales were distributed between transfers abroad to finance foreign trade, and cash sales to banks, while the selling price of the amounts of documentary credits and international settlements for electronic cards reached 1,305 dinars per dollar, and the selling price of the amounts of transfers abroad was 1,310 dinars per dollar.
