    The representative of the Prime Minister, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Assadi, announced today, Monday, the development of a four-pronged plan to combat poverty, while indicating that 400,000 families will be covered by health insurance.
    Al-Asadi said at the first semi-annual founding conference on people with special needs in general, autism spectrum disorder, and specific learning disorders, that “the conference indicates a real need and a problem that requires our great attention,” expressing his “confidence in the efforts made by the Rafd Al-Ataa Foundation for sustainable development and the study of solutions.” And come up with recommendations to become a platform of action and create an opportunity for this group and qualify them to contribute to building the country.”
    He pointed out that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani’s program paid attention to the services, education and learning sector in addition to the important sectors,” noting that “there are more than 1,000 schools that have been built, some of which are in the process of being built and completed, in addition to many hospitals that have been completed and 5 have been sent on scholarships.” Thousands of students are outside Iraq to study, in addition to what has been achieved on the ground in terms of developing infrastructure and building roads and bridges, as well as working to improve the living reality and stimulate investment to serve citizens.”
    He explained, "The Ministry of Labor has taken upon itself the implementation of an important part of the government program, which is to fight poverty by covering 900,000 families below the poverty level with social care, as well as approximately 400,000 families with health insurance, in addition to student scholarships for primary, middle, and middle schools, and even universities and studies." Supreme Council,” noting that “the Ministry paid attention to people with disabilities and special needs, and there is a special body for them that provides the necessary services for them.”
