The head of the Integrity, Security and Defense Committees of the Anbar Provincial Council, Saad Ghazi, revealed today, Monday, the dismissal of two directors of municipal departments in the western Anbar regions.
Al-Muhammadi told Al-Maalouma: “The exemption extended to the director of the municipality of Al-Wafa district on the grounds that he committed legal violations in the mechanism for distributing plots of land in the district, as well as the director of the municipality of Al-Walid district, west of Anbar, Nazim Al-Alwani, on the grounds of his negligence in his job duties.”
He added, "Nominations are open for both positions."
It is noteworthy that a security force had previously raided the home of the director of the municipality of Al-Wafa district, against the backdrop of his involvement in corruption files and the sale of lands owned by the state near the Anbar International Airport, which is under construction.
Anbar Governorate is witnessing a political conflict within it, while many parties within the governorate accuse the Taqaddam Party. Which is headed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, to seize control of the governorate’s capabilities. Ended / 12A
